Navajo earrings in sterling silver, representing dragonflies made with the overlay technique.
 

The dragonfly represents the illusion, the dexterity and the need of change.

The overlay is an emblematic process including a background soldered to another like-sized piece with a cutout design. The silver background is then oxidized and scratched to bring out contrast between the two pieces.
