These pretty earrings are of Number 8 turquoise (Nevada), polished and circled in sterling silver. 

These earrings are representative of one of the styles of Navajo silversmithing: The setting of the turquoises remind a wire like a lasso, because in Native culture it is considered that the stone must be tamed like a wild animal.

These turquoise slices are made from raw nuggets, finely cut and polished, for a pure and elegant look.
