This bear is sculpted in sandstone. 

He has feathers and a sandstone arrow head with some corals and shell pieces on a black tendon strand on his back, to bringing him more power and protection. 

The bear is symbole of strength, health and knowledge.

In a time when the Zuni tribe lived from agriculture and hunting, the hunters couldn't do without these amulets and would never forget to bring them during their expeditions. The fetishes assure benevolence of the soul.
