Lovely "Liquid silver" necklace made of sterling silver and stone mix tubular (Heishi) beads, with pendants in feather shapes.
Feathers are symbol of peace and freedom of spirit.
"Liquid silver" is a traditional Navajo work. Tubular beads (called heishi) are hand-strung together in order to create one or several strands. This give a fluid aspect to the jewel, that makes think to silk or water running on the skin, explaining why the Navajos gave this name to this process.
Beads available : turquoise, coral, onyx
