 “Liquid silver” Y necklace with three strands of tubular (Heishi) beads in sterling silver and mixed stone, accented with a stone cabochon and six drop-shaped pendants. 

"Liquid silver" is a traditional Navajo work. Silver tubular beads (called heishi) are hand-strung together in order to create one or several strands. This gives a fluid aspect to the jewel, that makes think to silk or water running on the skin, explaining why the Navajos gave this name to this process. 

Stones available : turquoise, coral, lapis-lazuli,  onyx, mother-of-pearl, multistones
