Navajo pendant in sterling silver, representing a wolf.

While the arrow is symbol of protection, the wolf  - one of the emblematic wild animals of the Western Part of the USA - is symbol of loyalty, family and observation. 

Apart from the plain silver model, this pendant is made with the “Chip Inlay” process.

What is Chip Inlay? 

Chip Inlay is a method where cavities in Navajo jewelry are filled with a mixture of crushed gemstone and epoxy resin fitted with hand, like this pendant. The piece is then smoothly polished after the resin has hardened. 

This pendant is in sterling silver.
