A sublime Navajo pendant with a square design, inlaid with several stones, such as orange spondylus, red spondylus, Sleeping Beauty turquoise (Arizona) and black-jet, set in sterling silver.

The inlay is a composition of real stones (most often turquoise, coral and jet) assembled to compose a geometric or figurative pattern. This pendant offers a nice example of "channel inlay", a marquetry work where the turquoise is compartmentalized by thin silver bars.
