Navajo ring made with the "Chip Inlay" process, representing the face of an Indian Chief, inlaid of turquoise, coral and black and white resins. 

What is Chip Inlay? 

Chip Inlay is a method where cavities in Navajo jewelry are filled with a mixture of crushed gemstone and epoxy resin fitted with hand, like this ring. The piece is then smoothly polished after the resin has hardened. 

This ring is in sterling silver.
