Native pattern ring, made with the "Chip Inlay" process. 

This design is a Rug Pattern, we usually find it on Native tapestry and weaving. 

What is Chip Inlay? 

Chip Inlay is a method where cavities in Navajo jewelry are filled with a mixture of crushed gemstone and epoxy resin fitted with hand, like this ring. The piece is then smoothly polished after the resin has hardened. 

This ring is in sterling silver.
