Sterling silver Navajo ring set with a cabochon of Royston turquoise (Nevada).

This superb ring is a signature piece whose artist's touch is recognizable in several details: the turquoise, mounted in a serrated setting, is framed by a couple of shell shapes. There is also a thin silver cord surrounding the turquoise (this symbol is reminiscent of the lasso and taming the stone like a wild animal) and the whole is enhanced by four small spheres at the top and bottom of the stone. 

The shank is carved of oxidized silver, giving relief and depth to this exceptional ring.
