The turquoise is beautifully cut in a teardrop shape and mounted in a smooth, sleek setting. The shank is hammered by hand and is refined into rounded shapes stamped with horseshoes.

In the Native culture the horse is a symbol of earthly power, freedom and travel, and its shoe is a well-known good luck charm.
