Beautiful Zuni ring made of Sleeping Beauty turquoise (Arizona), coral and black-jet inlay on sterling silver.

This ring represents a Kachina whose head is adorned by a tabletta. The Kachinas are incarnations of the spiritual form, they are supernatural beings who make the link with the divine. During certain ceremonies, they appear to the Natives while dancing and singing, in physical forms mixing animal features and abstract figures.

Zuni inlay is a mixture of real stones (most often turquoise, coral, mother of pearl and jet), cut and assembled by hand to create a geometric pattern. The whole is polished for a smooth and elegant look.
