Navajo ring made of a superb Kingman turquoise (Arizona) set in sterling silver.

This ring is representative of Navajo jewelry: the turquoise is surrounded by a thin silver cord, recalling the lasso and the fact that the Natives consider it necessary to tame the stone like a wild animal. On each side of the shank, you see stamps that are specific creation of the silversmith who made this ring. 

Size of the turquoise (L x W): 1,7cm x 1,5cm
(0.5/8 inch x 0.1/2 inch)
