One of a Kind piece

Beautiful Navajo ring featuring a Sonoran turquoise (Arizona) set in mat sterling silver.

Admire the beautiful contrasts of this Sonoran turquoise. Its ochre matrices stand out against a pretty background ranging from water green to khaki. The artist has hand-carved it into a beautiful oval shape and mounted it in a closed setting surrounded by a fine silver cord, reminiscent of a lasso and evoking the taming of the stone.

The wide band of this ring is superbly adorned with multiple details: silver pieces in the shape of shells and fine spheres are soldered onto the setting to provide an interesting play of relief and to highlight the turquoise. The rest of the ring is stamped with several Natives patterns, which are the artist's own creations from his personal hallmarks.
 

All these elements are oxidized to create a beautiful contrast, which brings out the colors of the Sonoran turquoise all the more.
