BA1447 turquoise and silver ring Harpo

Navajo ring made of a beautiful Sonoran turquoise (Arizona) set in sterling silver.

The turquoise is mounted in a serrated setting and the ring is representative of the Applique technique. This technique, emblematic of Navajo silversmithing, can be recognized by the shell shapes on each side of the turquoise. They are chased into thin silver plates and then soldered to the ring.
