Beautiful Navajo ring with a Kingman turquoise (Arizona) set in sterling silver.

This ring is representative of Navajo jewelry: the turquoise is hand-carved in the shape of a drop, mounted in a closed setting surrounded by a fine silver lasso. For Native American silversmiths, the stone must be tamed like a wild animal. The ring is embossed with small Native patterns.
