Stunning Navajo “Shadow Box” ring, featuring a beautiful Sonoran turquoise (Arizona) set in mat sterling silver.

The “Shadow Box” technique is a traditional Navajo work that consists of forming a silver dome on top of a flat piece. This Shadow Box is remarkable not only for its size, but also for the precision of the prints the artist has created on it: fine hand-chiseled lines radiate around the turquoise, highlighting those beautiful sky-blue and grass-green tones.

While creating this jewel, the artist (a renowned Navajo jeweler) has left no detail to chance: admire even the prints on the shank.

Every detail is hand-hammered or hand-chiselled with the perfect gesture, to achieve a uniform finish. Each detail is oxidized to create a darker contrast, adding structure and relief to this stunning ring.
