Navajo ring made of a Kingman turquoise (Arizona) set in sterling silver.

This ring is emblematic of Navajo jewelry:
The turquoise is hand-carved and is surrounded by a thin silver cord reminding the lasso (in the Native culture it is considered that the stone must be tamed like a wild animal).
