Navajo ring featuring Pilot Mountain turquoise (Nevada) set in mat sterling silver.

This ring is emblematic of Navajo jewelry:

The turquoise is hand-cut and surrounded by a thin silver cord reminiscent of a lasso (in Native culture, the stone must be tamed like a wild animal). On the sides of the ring, small arrowhead prints frame the turquoise.
