Navajo ring with a beautiful oval turquoise on sterling silver.

The turquoise is set in a smooth, uncluttered setting that highlights this beautiful turquoise. 

This ring is made in Applique, a technique emblematic of Navajo jewelry, which can be recognized by the leaf and spiral shapes that are chiseled into thin silver plates and then soldered onto the ring: here we recognize the leaves and shoots of squash blossoms. Squash is a staple food in traditional Native American culture.
