Navajo ring featuring a beautiful Fox turquoise (Nevada) set in sterling silver.

This stunning ring is a signature piece, recognizable of the artist's touch through several details:

The turquoise is mounted in a finely serrated setting, framed by small silver spheres and a fine lasso (an element reminiscent of taming the stone). The setting is made in Applique, a technique emblematic of Navajo silversmithing. This technique can be recognized by the shell shapes that are chased into thin silver plates and then soldered onto the ring.

The result is a powerful ring, full of relief, contrast and originality: a superb example of Native American fine jewelry.
