Navajo ring featuring a Number 8 turquoise (Nevada) set in sterling silver.

This ring is emblematic of Navajo jewelry:

The turquoise is hand-cut and encircled by a thin silver cord reminiscent of a lasso (in Native culture, the stone must be tamed like a wild animal). On the sides of the ring, small prints highlight the turquoise. These are the artist's own creations, based on his personal punches.
